The Etching Process:
We etch any size surface up to a 4' x 8' section in one piece. We also etch varied sizes made up of 1' squares, such as a puzzle.
Laser etching or laser engraving starts with scanning an image into a computer. Once the image is scanned, it is then formatted for the laser machine. The laser is a 2400-degree beam of light that burns through the surface of most materials, leaving a permanent etching. The laser light beam is only 1/3000th of an inch, so minute detail is achievable. After the image is formatted and loaded into the laser, the machine goes to work.
